感謝李子韶老師大方提供照片，這是第一次嘗試畫連續動作。一件作品當中，會用到非常多的處理技法，這一些技法，通常都是經年累月的經驗。沒有這一些畫水的經驗，我是畫不了現在的生態系列的:沒有在藝術學院時代的白描基礎、寫意花鳥基礎、嶺南畫派的基礎、工筆花鳥的基礎、加上現在對粉彩材料技法的種種了解，我是沒有能力，畫這一系列的鳥類的……

It was really appreciated that Mr. Lee Zi-Shao provided the photos generously. It was my first attempt to paint continuous movements. There are lots of processing techniques used in one creation. To gain these skills, it usually takes years of experiences. I wouldn’t have been able to paint the ecological series without any experiences in painting water. I wouldn’t have been competent to draw this series of birds without trainings of line drawing foundation, freehand flower and bird painting foundation, Lingnan painting foundation, meticulous technique of flower and bird painting foundation during my studies in the art college. Furthermore, the ability to paint this series should be credited to current understanding of pastel materials and techniques.

李子韶先生が写真を気前良く下さったことに感謝します。これは初めて連続動作を描くことを試みたものです。一つの作品の中に非常に多くの処理技法を用いています。これらの技法は長年の経験から培われてきたものです。水を描く経験がなかったら、現在、私は生態シリーズを描くことはできなかったでしょう。芸術学院時代のデッサンの基礎、写意の花鳥画の基礎、嶺南画派の基礎、工筆の花鳥画の基礎。それにパステル画の材料・技法などへの理解。それらがなかったら、私にはこのシリーズ物の鳥を描く能力は無かったことでしょう。
